Quiet Heart is a wilderness education program designed to enhance students understanding of the natural world, and instill in them a sense of stewardship toward their planet and it’s creatures. Through scientific exploration as well as sharing knowledge and lore gathered from Native American and folk wisdom, Quiet Heart students gain a sense of comfort and respect for the natural world of which they are a part. Quiet Heart is all about learning by doing and having fun.

Cascadia Wild combines ancient and modern ecological wisdom, teaching the language of nature through such forms as wilderness living skills, animal tracking, sensory awreness routines, the science of ecology, ethnobotany, and environmental stewardship.
